 – Japan- Arabia Methanol Company Ltd, registered company in Japan to produce  Methanol in Saudi Arabia

 – Shark Bay Salt Pty Ltd, registered in Australia to produce salt

 – Hi-Bis GmbH, registered in Germany in joint venture with Bayer to produce bisphenol and polycarbonate

 – Mitsui Bussan Chemicals Co., Ltd., registered in Japan to produce and sell paints and solvents

 – Honshu Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., registered in Japan to manufacture and sell chemical products

 – Soda Aromatic Co., Ltd, registered in Japan to develop and promote aromatic derivatives.

 Mitsui & Co Projects and Business Highlights

With 1.500 employees, Mitsui is planning to double its net income by 2014.

As all the Japanese companies, Mitsui is driven by innovation including for Basic Chemicals.
